We are currently seeking dependable, enthusiastic individuals to join our Materials team as a Materials Coordinator Leader I.

As a Shipping Materials Coordinator Leader I, you will be responsible for supporting the materials organization in a refrigeration manufacturing organization. This position is responsible for leading the shipping personnel to ensure adherence to processes and rules. Also, responsible to ensure accurate, quality work is being completed and managing personnel to complete work efficiently and timely every day. This position is responsible for ensuring appropriate scheduling of trucks for daily shipments, CCF resolution, as well as RRCA of process interruptions. This position will be assigned to work in the materials department. This position works Monday – Thursday, ten hours a day with occasional overtime.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure materials team adherence to all safety requirements and wear appropriate (PPE) Personal Protection Equipment

  • Communicate daily with team members and management team

  • Conduct team meetings to ensure safety, productivity, daily activities and 5S

  • Encourage team member to communicate effectively

  • Assist team members with problems, oversee work for quality

  • Provide quality customer service, including interacting with customers and handling customer complaints

  • Manage outbound shipments in a timely manner and accurately complete all transactions and paperwork

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Knowledge to perform all job functions within area of responsibility

  • Train new employees, manage work flow and coordinate manpower

  • Effectively problem solve, communicate effectively and consistently

  • Fill in for supervisor and other Coordinators leaders as needed

  • Maintain departmental quality standards

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualification:

  • Evidence of strong leadership skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older

  • Must have 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Must have the ability to bend, stoop, stand, and kneel. This position also involves routine lifting of items that typically weigh up to 35 pounds, weight may exceed that value for intermittent periods*

  • Excellent computer skills required

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Certified PIV Driver

  • ACE Associate preferred
