The Southern Region of Otis Americas has an opening(s) for a Regional Sales Manager(s) to lead the New Equipment sales function for the region.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to ):

  • Standardize New Equipment & New Equipment Sales Incentive Plan training process across region

  • Provide oversight to all New Equipment projects including surveys, estimates and proposal support

  • Participate in major projects including weekly MPRs (Major Project Review) and customer presentations

  • Build strong working relationships with consultants and vendors to promote consistency and preference

  • Train reps on New Equipment process, Compass Plus and E-log

  • Partner with New Equipment Ops to understand the labor tracker and develop strategy to execute NE sales plan

  • Partner with internal function groups (manufacturing, major projects, OSC, marketing) to execute process steps and achieve success

* Education / Certifications

  • BA/BS in business management or related field

  • MBA a plus

* Experience/Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industry sales experience

  • Ability to coach, train and lead others through influence

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to quickly develop relationships and partner with line management

  • Ability to proactively drive process improvement, problem solve and interact with all levels within the organization

  • Proficiency with MS office

  • Demonstrate effective communication skills that facilitates cross function interaction

  • Proven ability to think creatively, highly driven and self-motivated

Travel

  • Consideration given to major cities in the Southeast

  • Travel will be approximately 75%
