ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Executes multiple projects simultaneously to defined department standards using proper project planning steps: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closure

  • Coordinates implementation of new programs and pilots for all 3 verticals (Quality, Security and LPM)

  • Set up of customer software and databases

  • Engages stakeholders and communicates progress

  • Communicate effectively with other “virtual team” members to ensure collaboration on solutions and swift resolution of problems

  • Support deployment activities of Latin America, Europe/Middle East and Asia Pacfic regions

  • Develops and/or maintains standard trouble shooting documentation

  • Facilitates the researching, responding, and resolving various customer inquiries received via telephone, e-mail, and ticketing system

  • Collaborates with Support personnel based in other Sensitech Global locations to achieve Global Support Departmental Goals and maintain service initiatives to meet internal SLA and Customer SLA requirements

  • Process Improvement – Participate in Global Technical Service team process improvement activities designed to improve service quality and proactively address product/customer issues

  • Periodically review existing procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with current practice and Sensitech’s Quality System

  • Provide input and feedback to the product development team pertaining to customer requests and product enhancements as needed

  • Maintenance and troubleshooting of wireless (RF) devices installed at customer sites

  • Replicate field issues and collaborate with Field Test Engineer

  • Providing training for new customers during both onboarding and ongoing basis

  • Acts as the Liason for Latin America, Europe/Middle East and Asia Pacfic support team and Quality/Engineering to escalate issues and provide frequent update

  • Facilitates compliance to Sensitech EHS objectives

  • Other tasks as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required in both English and Spanish

  • A Bachelor’s Degree required - degree in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or Software/Computer Engineering preferred

  • Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a customer service/technical support field with direct customer contact

  • Ability to learn and conduct electronic fault finding to component level

  • Ability to handle customers with tact and patience

  • Ability to multitask, respond quickly, and follow established procedures

  • Must have strong attention to detail, analytical, and problem solving skills

  • Self-motivated individual with the ability to take ownership of the assigned responsibilities and bring to completion with minimal direct supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Operating System

  • Knowledge of Local and Wide Area networking concepts, configurations, systems and TCP/IP protocol, SMTP, POP3, firewall and network security required

  • Knowledge of RF/Wi-Fi technology is preferred
