UTC Aerospace Systems is a world leader in developing, manufacturing, and supporting helicopter rescue hoist and aircraft cargo winch systems. The Goodrich Hoist and Winch Division produces both level wind and translating drum cable management systems that are used around the world for critical rescue missions by the U.S. and international armed and paramilitary forces, law enforcement and homeland security. Our rescue hoists have field-proven success in high demand, extreme environment missions and have been instrumental in saving lives in several worldwide disaster relief efforts.

As the Business Development Manager for Hoist and Winch, you will be responsible for identifying new leads for expansion of the Hoist and Winch market, specifically targeting aftermarket growth.

You will also be required to perform market research in the Hoist and Winch industry to identify product developments and new strategies, identifying emerging trends in both the aftermarket but also in the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) platforms.

Additionally, you will perform the following responsibilities:

•Product, market, and business knowledge

•Strategic leadership and execution

•Proven track record of closing business deals

•Maintaining positive long-term business relationships

•Travel up to 50% (domestic and international)

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Business Development, Sales or Marketing in the Aerospace Industry

Additional Experience:

  • Product, market, and business knowledge

  • Strategic leadership and execution

  • Proven track record of closing business deals

  • Maintaining positive long-term business relationships

Education:

  • BS Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Logistics or Related Field

  • MBA preferred
