As part of the Sensors & Integrated Systems (SIS) team, you'll help develop the next generation of more intelligent, more integrated and more reliable solutions that enhance aircraft safety and performance in the most rigorous flight conditions. Primary Responsibilities:

Associate Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering is an entry-level position responsible to:

  • Analyze manufacturing processes and implement process improvements leading to increased production efficiency and yields as well as reduced scrap, inventory and lead times.

  • Improvements may require new or revised manufacturing procedures, production tooling, and test fixtures.

  • The position may require the development of new documented processes and equipment to support factory objectives.

  • Additional responsibilities may include training floor operators, recommendations for design changes, work transfers, and factory floor layouts to reduce waste and improve flow.

  • Problems may be complex and may require collaboration with design and quality engineering as well as production operations stakeholders to achieve desired results.

  • Work may be moderately supervised.

Qualification:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role in a high mix factory environment producing electromechanical products.

  • Experience in a regulated industry, use of Statistical Process Control (SPC), strong analytical skills, and hands-on experience is preferable.
