RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Supervisor will be responsible for the overall implementation of the Quality Assurance Plan on large projects. This will include coordinating all project testing and inspections as well as reporting any deficiencies to the Project Manager. The QA Supervisor will be required to attend progress meetings and maintain required project documentation. This documentation can include inspections of installations being executed by our subcontractors, startup of equipment by 3rd party vendors and system checkouts being completed by our System Specialists. The QA Supervisor may also be asked to perform spot checks on smaller projects to help maintain quality throughout the company.

A key aspect of the Quality Assurance Supervisor role is to ensure that the Project is being installed properly and is in conformance with the project documents as well as applicable building codes. The QA Supervisor will:

  • Modify the current version of the Quality Assurance Plan to make sure that it meets all customer and project specific requirements as needed

  • Verify that the System Specialists and subcontractors are working off of the approved control submittals

  • Verify that the System Specialist are performing point to point check outs as well as sequence verifications and documenting the results

  • Verify that the subcontractors are installing the equipment per manufacturer’s requirements

  • Maintain project documentation regarding equipment installation, checkout, testing and final commissioning

Qualification:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC Controls experience

  • Knowledge of HVAC Systems and applications pertaining to HVAC/Controls

  • Knowledge of Control Logic and DDC Control Theory

  • Experience using Web Control or related BAS Software Programs

  • Well versed in the use of Multi-meters, magnehelic pressure gauges, humidity meters, Infrared temperature sensors along with other HVAC test equipment

  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal)

  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record in compliance with company policy

  • Capable of climbing ladders and using other lift equipment in excess of 8 feet above grade

  • Team Player

Education:

  • Associate's/Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • OSHA 30 Construction Certified
