We are currently searching for an Operations Analysis Team Lead for Mission Systems Business

Development where we create and deliver leading-edge communication, navigation, test and training, intelligence

surveillance reconnaissance and space solutions that our global civil and military customers demand in

We are seeking a senior business development professional who is a self-starter and a leader for this

rewarding role! This individual will be responsible for leading a team of four people in the analysis of

internal and external data, and the development of fact-based briefings and recommendations to

executive leaders within Collins Aerospace Mission Systems. It covers all aspects of business

development to include customer relationship management, orders pipeline, market channels and

trends, customer and competitor behaviors, government fiscal guidance, strategic environmental

factors, and more.

This position is located in the Cedar Rapids, IA area; Collins Aerospace would consider a telecommuting

arrangement for the right candidate.

This position is responsible for supporting all business areas within Collins Aerospace Mission Systems

(MS). The main responsibilities for the Operations Analysis Team Lead include:

• Provide analytic support to Mission System Business Development Vice President, portfolio Senior

Directors, and both domestic and international sales teams; coordinate with program management,

finance, and strategy teams to ensure all perspectives are addressed

• Manage implementation and use of CRM tools to include developing analytic reports and

dashboards as well as training users

• Champion changes to CRM tools to better meet Mission System needs

• Serve as alternate Mission Systems Configuration Control Board member for CRM and related tools

• Manage the interface of CRM tools with other information systems used by finance and contracting

• Conduct analysis to ensure data quality, accuracy and thoroughness

• Publish monthly, quarterly, and annual products (spreadsheets, Powerpoint charts, etc) supporting

executive reporting, strategic financial planning, business case analysis, and special projects

• Develop processes, procedures, and tools to ensure accurate and efficient reporting of metrics as

well as maintaining snapshots of the data for comparative analyses

• Support market and competitive analyses.

• Manage the non-employee sales representatives (NSR) program; conduct analysis of NSR

performance and effectiveness in meeting company market penetration and growth objectives.


This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 8 years of relevant experience. In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
