This Security Administrator will work in the Collins Aerospace’ Digital Technology Cybersecurity organization and will manage the enterprise directories including the Active Directory environment as a member of the Identity Security Team. The Cybersecurity organization employs industry best practices to protect Collins Aerospace’ networks and intellectual property from global security threats.
The Security Administrator will maintain an Active Directory environment to the highest quality. This includes development and institution of enterprise-wide group policies, Active Directory consolidation, integration with identity management products, and domain operation troubleshooting. This position supports Identity Security applications including installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, administration, account management, system design, and software and hardware issue resolution.
Demonstrate a solid understanding both technically and functionally of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy and interactions with third-party DNS in a Windows Server environment
Utilize network/datacenter monitoring tools to analyze domain controllers, maintain up-time, generate usage reports, and spot trends. Escalate issues with broad implications to Leadership.
Troubleshoot accounts and logins for desktops, servers, and basic network issues.
Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, system log files, technical procedures, and governmental regulations.
Write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals in English using proper grammar and spelling.
Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Serve as the security lead for simple to complex level development/deployment projects.
Organize and coordinate activities of team members to complete security team deliverables for projects.
Implement policy and identify action plans to address audit issues.
Capture project security requirements.
Develop plans to implement strategic initiatives as identified by leadership.
Provide security consulting services for strategic projects in support of the business.
Coordinate input into project tracking tools to maintain the status of projects at each required level.

Windows Server Administration
Windows Active Directory Administration in a multi-domain, multi-forest environment
Understanding of domain trusts
Interaction with third party DNS
Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
Scripting knowledge, including either powershell or Visual Basic
Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP and other authentication technologies
Microsoft MCSE (Current)
Experience with CyberArk Privileged Identity Mgmt.
Experience with MFA technologies
Experience with Azure and AWS identity and directory services
Experience with Federation services
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience.
In the absence of a degree, 11 years of relevant experience is required
