"I feel the need...the need for speed!" If you like the movie "Top Gun", you will love the Test and Training Instrumentation Engineering Department. This Software Engineer will work in the Government Systems Test and Training Instrumentation Engineering Department developing and testing embedded and application level software. The TTI Department develops state-of-the-art Test and Training Products for cryptographic datalink networking and command and control applications. We specialize in the development of high quality highly secure solutions for U.S. military communication systems navigation systems and networks. We mature products from concept phase through accreditation and factory production.
This position may include support of software requirements definition and design implementing software in C/C++/Java testing software and software-hardware integration. The ideal candidate will have at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA and excellent communications skills to communicate technical issues and status in both written and oral form. Candidates must be motivated to learn new technologies be a strong team player and contribute to a positive work environment.
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) discipline
U.S. Citizenship is required and must possess or meet eligibility requirement for obtaining a U.S. DoD Secret Clearance
Good written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work well with others in a professional team environment
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage individual tasks while balancing priorities and schedules
Motivated self-starter with good analytical skills
