This position is for a recognized master in General Management, who leads and develops medium to large-sized programs, drives strategic planning efforts, leads contract negotiations, spearheads solutions for program problems, and manages multiple vendors and the P&L of programs.
Owns the execution of projects to meet established targets and metrics.
Develops and reviews short and long term organizational goals and objectives to ensure alignment with broader organizational strategies.
Delivers operational and financial objectives for all functional areas, as it relates to responsible programs, in order to plan ahead to manage and mitigate all risks to the business.
Negotiates and reviews contracts and agreements with suppliers, distributors, federal and state agencies, and other organizational entities to ensure that the organization’s interests are protected.
Supports the development of new business growth strategies to increase profitability and/or market share of the organization.
Represents the organization to internal and external stakeholders in order to present a positive image of the organization.
Works with customers and may serve as face of the organization as a leader to public consumers.
Includes full accountability of the workforce.
Oversees the execution of one or multiple products, programs or services across the entire value stream throughout Collins Aerospace.
Has P&L or cost center responsibility within a geographic area, business segment or portfolio.
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 10 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 7 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience is required.
