This position is within the Publications and Training organization for Collins Aerospace - Products and Aftermarket support. The individual in this position is responsible for supporting ongoing integration efforts between business units. This individual will be responsible for assisting in the successful integration efforts of tools, processes, and standards across a wide range of teams and lead matrixed resources in varying responsibilities to support business needs.
An individual in this position will bring flexibility, creativity, and versatility to the job responsibilities and attributes. The ideal candidate will be able to work with Strategic Business Integration Analysts, leaders, technical authors, illustrators, and program support teams. In this role responsibilities include research, holding collaboration sessions, working to align teams, holding regular cadence meetings, assisting in the project planning and schedules for new integration efforts, and day-to-day user support. This position also relies heavily on assisting teams with change management across these transitions.
Ability to analyze and manage complex business problems to be solved with automated systems and provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Leads cross-functional teams in implementing changes within their organization and executing to ensure the team has successfully integrated into Collins Aerospace Solution.
Prepares operating instructions and overviews for team members to become efficient in the new processes and changes.
Conducts regularly scheduled cadences with supporting action item listings to ensure the team is meeting schedules.
Supports data migration, data conversion, data loading, and performance improvement of information.
Coordinates and communicates system change requirements to end users.
Translate business requirements into documented business cases to show return on investment and benefit to the company.
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required.
US Citizen required
Up to 40% Travel may be required (International and Domestic)
Ability to obtain an active DoD Security Clearance.
Proficient with Microsoft tools suite
Experience in writing or using intermediate and depot level aircraft maintenance publications.
Experience producing electronic technical data.
Experience writing in ATA-2200, Military Specifications and/or S1000D.
Simplified Technical English (ASD/AECMA version) writing experience.
