RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible for providing support across several human resource functions including employee relations, staffing and sourcing, talent development, employee data management, performance programs, policy compliance and communications.

The specific responsibilities include:

  • In partnership with the HR Manager, implement strategies that increase employee engagement with technician population

  • Support recruitment efforts with a focus on effective sourcing, initial resume screening, facilitation of the interview process and on boarding of new hires

  • Deliver timely, high quality and impactful employee communications

  • Identify and champion human resources process improvement initiatives

  • Conduct timely investigations, prepare documentation and make appropriate recommendations

  • Provide training and development activities for the technician work force

  • Compile, analyze and report Human Resources metrics

  • Ability to understand, interpret and easily communicate policies, practices and the Code of Ethics

  • Accurate maintenance of employee personnel files, electronic data and other employee information in a confidential manager and in compliance with applicable policies, laws and records retention schedule

  • General office management including: Purchase order maintenance, paying invoices, administration related to company ghost card and similar administrative tasks

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail

  • Demonstrates discretion, able to work with sensitive and confidential materials

  • Ability to be flexible, manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing priorities and assignments.

  • Strong urgency, ownership & follow through

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
