The Aerostructures Supply Chain organization is looking for a high performing, motivated professional to manage strategic materials planning projects in support of the Lean Transformation initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • This individual is responsible for optimizing materials planning using Plan for Every Part techniques, SAP utilization, and data analytics.

  • The individual will identify process improvements, work with cross functional teams, and track their progress to ensure desired results are being achieved.

  • This position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

    1. Identification and implementation of material planning opportunities using data analytics and other means
    1. Perform data analytics to ensure compliance and alignment between SAP & physical material flow
    1. Lead strategic data management activities 4. Ensure alignment between contractual agreements and SAP settings
    1. Interfacing with cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion
    1. Find systematic solutions to complex issues using SAP 7. Participate in strategic demand / materials planning projects

*Education /Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Manufacturing, Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, Business Management, Quality, Supply Chain, or related field required

  • Master's degree in management or technical field a plus.

Experience/Qualifications:

  • Proficient in: SAP or other ERP Systems, Demand planning & forecasting, Supply Chain Management,Inventory management & production control Materials, planning strategies Logistics optimization

  • Must be able to balance multiple projects at one time

  • 3+ years in supply chain, operations, demand planning, IT, engineering or SAP -

  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of projects & strong project management skills Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter working under limited guidance

  • Excellent ability to use Microsoft Office

  • Proficient with data mining and data analytics Preferred

  • Work experience with ECC and other SAP products in a materials management role

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment - APICS certification
