This position is for an entry-level employee in Supply Chain Management. This position works to:
Achieve general day-to-day objectives focusing on supply chain strategies and goals
Make minor changes and enhancements to supply chain management processes and systems
Carry out activities associated with purchasing goods & materials, sourcing product, ensuring ongoing supplier performance and assisting with the SCM Digital, Materials and Lean strategies.
Primary Responsibilities
Manage standard responsibilities across multiple supply chain disciplines on a regular basis.
Support one or more Supply Chain disciplines in executing routine processes
Assists internal teams in procurement and shipment of supplies
Performs supply chain activities across disciplines depending on organizational needs
Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods, sourcing supply, contracting, process improvement and other SCM activities dependent on organizational needs
Education
Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and less than 3 years of relevant experience
In the absence of a degree, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
Basic Qualifications
Must be a US Person including green card holders
Knowledge of Supply Chain processes; may include materials, procurement, sourcing, and/ or supplier performance
Works well in a team environment, highly motivated
Drives teams with multi-discipline informal teams and work cross-functionally
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong people / interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent organization skills
Work independently, remain calm under pressure and deal with ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
SAP proficiency
Knowledge of Continuous Improvement
Proficient in Excel, Power Point, Project and MRP/ERP systems.
Knowledge of Project Management
Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
