Department Function: The FCOE is part of Pratt & Whitney’s Manufacturing Operations. NBPC is responsible for manufacturing and procuring Military and Commercial engine parts across all engine programs on schedule while focusing on ACE and productivity improvements to reduce part costs. The Columbus facility is approximately 500,000 square feet with approximately 900 employees and will deliver approximately 1.0 million hours of product in 2018. The FCOE also includes operations in Israel (Blades Technology Limited – 750k s.f., approximately 1,200 employees and 1.6 million hours in 2018 and Carmel Forge – 500 s.f., approximately 200 employees and 100k hours in 2018) and New York (HMI – 150k s.f., 200 employees and 324k hours in 2018). Location: Columbus, GA Departments Interacted With / Key Customers: Manufacturing Operations Finance Director, General Manager, Product Director, Business Unit managers, Manufacturing Operations CFO, Core Finance, Government Accounting and Manufacturing Engineering. Brief Description of Key Job Requirements: Provide financial support to the FCOE organization, ensuring financial and control functions are integrated to optimize cost reduction, satisfy financial requirements and safeguard assets. The successful candidate will provide direct support to the FCOE GM and product director. This position will provide the opportunity to become an integral part of the production management team with a definite "hands-on" attitude required. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to: • Provide consolidated FCOE financial data to the GM and management team to support the overall FCOE financial results and forecast. • Direct monthly closing and variance analysis of Module Center financial results and measurement part cost. • Provide Module Center performance reports pertaining to operating expenses, inventory and capital expenditures. • Provide summary of consolidated results to operations leadership team. • Coordinate all forecasting efforts related to the FCOE profit and loss statement, workload/volume, manpower planning and operating expenses; including OMMs and budgets • Provide financial oversight to BTL, Carmel and HMI finance teams on a regular basis. Ensure forecast accuracy for all FCOE operations. • Assist in making timely recommendations concerning financial consequences of strategies, programs, and actions for FCOE as a whole. • Take a proactive role in supporting, advising and reporting on financial & business matters related to NGPF and JSF war on cost initiatives • Communicate performance goals throughout the Module Center to all employees as part of an overall education process to drive continuous cost reduction and in support of the AVP (local bonus plan for all employees) • Join FCOE business unit teams in supporting EHS and ACE goals for both operations and office areas. • Set a high standard in monitoring and oversight of PW/UTC ethics and control policies (Sarbanes-Oxley, PW Standard Procedures, UTC code of ethics) to ensure 100% compliance. • Hire and develop a strong financial team providing them with opportunities to grow and expand their skills; establish the finance structure to provide support to the FCOE GM and team Business Systems: BW, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access), SAP, HFM

Qualification:

15+ years of relevant experience.

Education: Bachelors degree required.
