Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

This position works under minimum supervision assisting the Maintenance Manager in the management of both the day-to-day activities and long-term projects of the maintenance department.

  • Application of plant data system to capture breakdown data, schedule PM’s, planned and unplanned work. Supervises the activities of and assigns work to maintenance personnel.

  • You will oversee the repair and maintenance of equipment

  • You will direct maintenance programs, which support, reinforce and supplement the plant’s safety program.

  • You will provide on-the-job training, rotate job assignments for flexibility, review work performance, maintain discipline and participate in the handling of any problems with hourly maintenance employees.

  • You will estimate time and cost of maintenance repairs and projects

  • You will work 2nd Shift

To be successful in this position, you should have the following experience:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detail and results oriented with good analytical skills.

  • Experience with continuous improvement tools such as run charts, root cause analysis etc.

  • General Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatics, hydraulics and electrical systems

Required Qualifications:

  • 2 year Technical Degree

  • 3+ years working as a Maintenance Supervisor in manufacturing

  • 8+ years Preventive Maintenance experience

  • US Citizen due to program requirements
