The Enterprise Capacity Materials Planning & Strategy (ECMPS) organization is looking for an articulate individual to lead our Commercial Spares MRP Planning team. If you are customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream.

The Commercial Spares MRP Planning Manager is a key leader in our organization in support of a Commercial Spares team with responsibilities that include (but are not limited to):

Support of Commercial Engines (CE) Spares material value streams through the direct leadership of the CE Spares MRP Planning team

Facilitate processes to ensure schedule accuracy and enable schedule stability

Lead, co-lead, or support various strategic initiatives associated with material planning systems

Lead or co-lead high visibility teams that focus on the improvement of inventory management processes

Accountable to effectively handle the Plan for Every Part (PFEP), including planning parameters, scheduling strategies, and inventory optimization

Support lead time management, replenishment strategies and material flow optimization through the PFEP

In this role you will be responsible for the direct management of the teams that handle material schedules updates, planning parameters review and updates and analysis of inventory situations. In addition this position will participate in and frequently own the execution of critical projects within the ECMPS team inventory initiatives, new systems implementations and business process improvements. The Commercial Spares MRP Planning Manager is responsible for ensuring that the CE Spares MRP Planning team is executing to standard work and will measure the performance of the Global Work Share and Pratt & Whitney planning teams.

Each Materials Manager is also responsible to assure that they are meeting full MMAS compliance and will work to improve the ACE status of the team.

Other qualifications include the ability to demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience and APICS certification is a plus.

•A minimum 7 years of significant experience
