Responsibilities include:

  • Your primary tasks will be calibration of measurement and test equipment for Internal PW Customers

  • You will track and manage task status in tasks management system.

  • You will manage hardware and data flow inbound and outbound.

  • You will support and improve lab operations using ACE tools.

  • Cross training will be encouraged in one or more of the following AMM areas: Structured Light Inspection, Airflow Testing & Qualification, Balance Audits, Gage Suitability Reviews, and Risk-Based Dimensional Audit.

  • You will develop new and improved testing methods and procedures to ensure accuracy and validate quality of instrumentation

  • You will control and maintain the accuracy of laboratory test equipment and instrumentation

  • You will maintain standards traceability to National Institute of Standards and Technology(NIST)

  • You will teach M&TE familiarization courses.

Travel:

The position may require limited travel. (30%)

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required; Science, Engineering or Technical Degree is preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience minimum.

  • U.S. Citizenship required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of GD&T and ability to interpret blue prints.

  • Inspection experience in the aerospace industry is highly desired.

  • Computer programming skills, preferred in PC-DMIS, HEXAGON, Calypso, Python or other common platforms.

  • Be able to effectively communicate with customers, focus on results and customer satisfaction.

  • Self-motivated and have the ability to work independently.

  • Hands-on experience with 3D non-contact scanning techniques is a plus.
