The Capital Equipment Procurement Organization (CEPO) has an opening for a Manager. This management position participates in the strategic leadership of P&W global capital plan, supporting the company to bring in capital assets on time, at cost and with required technical capability. This manager will lead development of improved cost and schedule reporting on capital acquisitions to support broader P&W wide initiative to create an integrated capacity planning tool which combines and reports on all relevant projects that support it's initiatives. The capital equipment manager will lead a team of top-tier engineers through the deployment of a yearly capital plan. The candidate must have demonstrated leadership and technical skills, interpersonal and team building skills as well as strong communication and multi-tasking capability. This role requires strong adaptability to changing business requirements. In addition, business insight, willingness to implement and drive lean techniques and ability to incorporate new technologies into the manufacturing is required. Key responsibilities include:

•Support the P&W capital plan and manage the priorities of many customers.

•Promote the use of data driven root cause and corrective action tool use in support of GSME ACE Gold status.

•Effectively manage the engineering resources of the group. Implement and execute project management plans to insure customer requirements are met and financial commitments are achieved.

•Continuously monitor ITC requirements and implement changes as necessary.

Qualification:

Experience/Qualifications

•10+ years of experience in Engineering, Manufacturing and / or Operations Supervisor experience.

•Demonstrated experience leading a team in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

•Experience in EVMS type reporting is a positive strength

•Mechanical Engineering in manufacturing environment background is a plus.
