Job Description

The Depot Operations Strategy Manager will lead matrix teams to develop and enhance sustainment operations strategy for the military engines division. Responsible for leading small teams in developing process improvement plans in support and integration of military maintenance, repair, overhaul and upgrade depot level sustainment requirements both inside the U.S. and abroad. You will partner with engineering, quality, production, supply chain and repair centers in optimizing sustainment systems for the F100, F117, F119 and F135 military engine programs. You will be instrumental in setting enterprise prioritization strategies that yield enhanced revenue, customer satisfaction and value for the enterprise. As a manager, the role will focus on developing strategies to better align processes across the military engines division.

Qualification:

Experience/Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of related professional experience in operations management, supply/ materials/logistics management or program/project management.

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to drive organizational change

  • You are a US Citizen required due to DoD Secret clearance and/or ability to obtain a Secret clearance requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience with business plan development and project management

  • 5+ years of supervisor experience managing direct reports

  • You should have 5 years of experience with metric formulation and communication.

  • 2+ years experience in using/supervising implementation of data management systems and reporting systems

  • Experience with SAP and other data management systems

  • Familiarization with military maintenance reporting systems

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, and the ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization.

  • Proactive, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills, able to lead matrix teams

  • Experience and competency in supply chain and inventory management.

Education:

Education / Certifications

  • Bachelor’s of Science (B.S.) degree or B.A. in mathematics, operations research, engineering, business, finance, logistics, computer science, or data analytics

  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred
