The V2500 Deputy Production Chief is responsible for serving as the Operations point of contact to the V2500 Program Office and partnering with the Module Centers, Supply Chain and Delivery Assurance teams for resolution of delivery issues and risks. The Deputy Production Chief is the Operations representative on the cross-functional Integrated Program Management Team (IPMT) and an integral part of the Integrated Program Deployment (IPD) process. This V2500 Deputy Production Chief is responsible for ensuring all aspects of Manufacturing Production Readiness are assessed and support the industrial and program plans for engine and spare part deliveries, including, but not limited to material availability and manufacturing capacity.

Responsibilities will include:

•Lead a team of Industrial managers to support program office requirements

•Strategic ownership of long-term capacity and capability for V2500 OEM production and MRO spare part support.

•Partnering with CIPTs, Module centers, and supply chain to assess industrial risks, and develop mitigation plans to ensure quality and delivery requirements are met.

•Operations plan for ramp down of OEM production

•Support development of sunset strategies to keep the fleet flying as program ramps down OEM production.

•Developing and executing a delivery plan that aligns customer requirements to MRP and managing MRP adjustments through the SIOP process.

•Support program office MRO workstop reductions through improvement of spare part deliveries.

•Provide direction and alignment with CIPT industrial leads to mitigate critical risks identified within the program office and through Operations risk identification tools.

•Manage industrial planning for Engineering Changes as applicable

Qualification:

7+ years of experience in Operations, Engineering, Project or Program management. (preferred) Superior written and oral communication skills and demonstrated leadership and project management skills required. Detail and results oriented with strong problem solving skills. Ability to meet commitments, balance and resolve conflicting priorities. Understands strategic and business implications and works to provide best P&W solutions. Demonstrated experience working with executive level management. Dynamic individual who strives for continuous improvement using ACE Tools. Proficient with the Microsoft Office suite of applications and SAP. MRP/SAP experience is strongly preferred.
