The Mechanical Systems, Externals and Nacelles (MSEN) organization is the recognized leader in the design, development and support of reliable, best-in-class mechanical systems, Externals, and Nacelle architecture, providing the best value, shortest cycle-time and highest quality to meet customer requirements. Within the MSEN Structures discipline, an experienced and highly-motivated Structures Engineering intern is needed to support commercial gas turbine engines. In this role, the Structures Engineer will be work alongside some of the best engineers in the world completing technical assessments and analyses necessary to support design, development, validation, production implementation and management of new and operational engines flying across the globe. The Structure Engineering intern will be responsible for analysis of bearing compartment hardware, fabricated ducts, harness routing, tubes, brackets and component mounts. In this role, the Structures Engineer intern will be an integral member of a team working tasks and challenging problems focused on engine safety, reliability, capability, robustness and affordability. It is an exciting time at Pratt & Whitney and this is a unique opportunity for an experienced individual to join a team working cutting-edge technologies on the best engines in the world.
Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?
You're in an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering degree program.
Fields of study: Engineering
You will have at least 30 credits prior to starting your internship
You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
