Description:

This position will have overall responsibility for ensuring fleet readiness for the Israeli Air Force operating the F100 engine through the use of logistics management tools and field service representatives located on site. Key Job Responsibilities: • Interface with customers, and the F100 P&W Program Office to determine future customer needs and focus internal support necessary to achieve customer satisfaction • Proactively manage program requirements by monitoring, trending and reporting status of key metrics. • Work closely with support groups to forecast customer maintenance, project component replacement/repair needs, and work with customer to budget/order to maintain fleet readiness goals. • Ensure program critical issues are identified, communicated, elevated as required and acted on in a timely fashion through the appropriate channels. • Utilize ACE Principles and continuous improvement of fleet management systems and processes to minimize cost and to ensure customer satisfaction. • Assist with new business opportunity proposal activity by ensuring appropriate support is provided. • Support export compliance activities for licenses/agreements within region.

Qualification:

Required:

10+ years of experience with military engine and component overhaul & repair

10+ years with materials and/or logistics experience

Preferred:

Technical understanding of propulsion systems and their components

10+ years of military experience

Ability to manage a distributed workforce

Strong organizational skills

Continuous improvement experience with ability to develop and implement standard work

This position will be stationed in East Hartford. Some domestic and international travel is required.

Education:

Required: Bachelors degree

Preferred: MBA or advanced degree; a degree in Engineering or related field
