We are looking for you to tackle this is unique opportunity to support the F100 product line as a Support Equipment (SE) Customer Support Engineer in the P&W Military Customer Support & Services (MCS&S) organization. We are seeking a motivated self-starter to work within a team of tooling CSEs in managing the full life cycle of SE used for assembly/disassembly/inspection of F100 engines.

In this role, you will disposition Supplier Requests for Information (SRI) and Quality Notifications (QN), provide technical support/resolution of technical issues, support engineering investigations, and work with a cross functional team including USAF counterparts.

Can you see yourself in this role performing the below functions?

  • Disposition SRI to address supplier issues during SE manufacturing

  • Disposition Quality Notifications

  • Provide engineering evaluation of SE prior to Defense Contracts Management Administration (DCMA) final inspection

  • Work with other business areas to manage goals for SE design, manufacturing, qualification and delivery

  • Create/update Illustrated Part Breakdown (IPB) and usage instructions/technical manuals for new/existing SE

  • Provide technical support/resolution of technical issues

  • Work with cross functional team to prepare new business proposals

  • You will bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) as this position requires working with the Integrated Product Team (IPT), customers, suppliers and cross functional teams.

  • You will be able to perform multiple tasks while working independently as a member of a team in a dynamic organization.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • 1 year Supplier Requests for Information (SRI) and Quality Notifications (QN) disposition experience OR 1+ year mechanical assembly, disassembly and inspection processes experience

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field

  • SRI Experience

  • verbal/written experience

  • 1+ year reporting technical topics

  • 1+ year project management for designing, manufacturing and qualifying mechanical hardware • Understanding of root cause analysis • Knowledge of Air Force technical orders and maintenance processes • CAD/UG experience

  • • Candidate must be a US Citizen due to Federal Contracts
