Hot Section Engineering (HSE) focal point for Advanced Heat Exchanger (HEX) Applications to support future military and commercial products. In addition to supervising a small team, you will be responsible for providing leadership to teams that are staffed by HSE discipline groups. A strong technical background in engineering with excellent communication and presentation skills are helpful to be successful. Some specific responsibilities include:

  • Staffing/Budget/Project planning for Advanced HEX Activities in support of Core Engineering, Thermal Management System team and HSE Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT).

  • Develop strategy and technology roadmaps. Lead funding/execution of technology projects that promote technology progression and documentation of Engineering Standard Work.

  • Lead research and technology with UTRC, Penn State, UTAS, etc.

  • Provide technical mentoring and develop talent to support future projects.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

8+ years of technical engineering experience with a Bachelor's Degree.

5+ years of technical engineering experience with a Master's or Advanced Degree

US Citizenship due to government contracts.

Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.

An Active Security Clearance.

5+ years of Leadership skills.

Education:

Basic:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.

Preferred:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or Master’s degree in Engineering.
