Pratt & Whitney is seeking a dynamic and ambitious Industrial Manager to interface on the Industrial Management of spare parts delivery across OCE Programs. The Industrial Manager is the interface between Program Management, Global Supply Chain (GSC), and CE Customer Solutions to assure part quality / delivery are getting necessary attention to meet shop TAT. You will address risk items and overdue deliveries working across the value stream. This is an engaging, high volume, high interaction role where interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Industrial Managers have the following responsibilities: Job Description •Develop systemic approach to evaluate potential future part shortages and implement early action to preclude such part shortages o Work across P&W to resolve current part shortages o Drive a holistic part supply solution accounting for factors such as “used serviceable” part availability, 3rd party material providers, repair yields, etc. •Participate in weekly Heat Map meetings and identify parts that may fall in gaps between processes •Develop & maintain robust processes to communicate part delivery commits •Implement innovative means by which to identify and subsequently mitigate potential issues relative to delivery •Collaborate with respective executives relative to issue mitigation, as required •Working with Aftermarket, create and maintain five-year spare part forecast and additional responsibilities •Tracking critical parts for the program that have been identified, communicate customer needs and work stop dates, provide MRP recovery analysis, monitor daily deliveries, investigate missed promises and communicate new delivery stream -Supporting tactical requests to expedite aftermarket production hardware (i.e. providing delivery commitments, confirming that parts are stored in the warehouse, etc.) -Providing the Commercial Engines senior management team with current information of critical part status.

Qualification: Preferred

Master's Degree in business, supply chain management, project management or a related discipline

  • 4+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Materials Management, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement or a related field.

  • Outstanding teammate with good interpersonal skills.

  • Self-motivated and detailed task oriented.

  • Ability to work independently with little direct supervisory input or direction.

Education:

Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, supply chain management, project management or a related discipline

  • 4+ years of experience in Operations Management or Productions Management.

  • US Person is required for this role
