The UTC Re-Empower Program is a return to work program that helps support talented and committed professionals as they rebuild their capabilities, improve leadership skills, and continue their professional journey. The program consists of a 16-week comprehensive cohort assignment, which offers a rich and rewarding experience and mentorship for program participants transitioning back into the workforce after a 2+ year career break, for reasons such as childcare, eldercare, career path change, illness, retirement or other personal matters. Selected experienced professionals will gain paid, on-the-job experience, have an opportunity to participate in sessions with leadership, develop personalized plans for success and receive mentoring to guide their return to work experience. Upon completion of the 16-week program, based on performance, Re-Empower participants may have an opportunity to convert to a full-time role. Cohort III of the UTC Re-Empower Program will run from September 5 – December 21, 2018.

To qualify for the UTC Re-Empower Program , candidates must meet both program and position requirements .

Program Qualifications:

• Currently be on a break of at least two years or more • Have a minimum of five years of professional work experience • Have an interest in returning to work in a full-time position • Have an ability to attend the Re-Empower Program Orientation at UTC Headquarters in Farmington, CT on September 5-7, 2018 Position’s Basic Qualifications: • Bachelor degree • Minimum of five (5) years of meaningful experience. US Citizenship required due to Federal Contracts

The Pratt & Whitney Military Engines organization is looking for a Material Forecast Modeling Analyst to support our engine programs, including the F135 engine program which powers the F-35 fighter aircraft. You will provide strategic support including but not limited to:

  • You will enable F135 Supply Chain Management by providing spare parts forecasts for proposals and day to day part management activities.

  • You will create predictive analytics, statistics, and data mining on large data sets using tools such as Python, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, and JMP.

  • You will collaborate with forecasting team to support internal and external customers by developing creative modeling solutions to complex problems.

  • You will develop, maintain, and enhance a data visualization toolset that drives part planners' task prioritization and gives management and leadership a snapshot of the current state of the spare parts inventory.

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree

5 years professional experience in data analytics.

Experience in MS Access, SQL, and MS Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with MCA or SPM or other Supply Chain Management/inventory optimization tool.

Python, SQL, Statistics, Modeling, Simulation, Optimization highly beneficial.
