Description:

The Pratt and Whitney Military Engines organization is looking for a Material Forecast Analyst and Project Manager to primarily support our F100 engine programs, but also including the F135, F119, and several Mobility Programs engine programs.

You will provide strategic support including but not limited to:

  • Enabling F100 supply chain management by providing spare parts forecasts for proposals and day to day part management activities.

  • Manage the project transitioning all of the Military Engines programs from individual inventory optimization tools to a single, common tool and process.

  • Create predictive analytics, statistics, and data mining on large data sets using tools such as Python, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, and JMP.

  • Collaborate with the forecasting team to support internal and external customers by developing creative modeling solutions to complex problems.

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance a data visualization toolset that drives part planners' task prioritization and gives management and leadership a snapshot of the current state of the spare parts inventory.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience, to include:

  • Experience using Excel and at least one Database Management System, such as Access or Oracle,

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with MCA or other Supply Chain Management / inventory optimization.

  • Experience with Python, [Discrete Event] Simulation, Modeling, Statistics, Queueing Theory,

  • Optimization highly beneficial.

  • Knowledge of jet engines as well as their maintenance processes.

  • Experience using Pratt and Whitney data systems, such as SAP, ODM, and APO.
