The F135 Supply Chain Team has a rare opportunity for a talented Logistics Material Specialist to join our team in East Hartford, CT.

The Logistics Material Specialist (LMS) will coordinate with the F135 Propulsion System Sustainment Supply Chain, F135 International Trade Compliance, and F135 Finance teams to ensure the timely and compliant import, export, and or re-export of propulsion system spares, including support equipment and Packaging Handling Storage and Transportation (PHS&T) spares.

  • Your work scope will include the collection, analysis, verification, and supply of all data elements associated with the given period’s total logistics material movements, in support of regulatory and statutory reporting.

  • You'll also be involved in all aspects of coordination with Product Support Providers working under the auspices of a Warehouse and Distribution Agreement to ensure that the requisite service levels are being achieved and sustained.

  • You must be able to organize, logically analyze and present spare materials' cost and schedule information that will be pulled in from several information systems

  • You'll also lead intervention efforts to investigate and resolve process flow issues that may result in government property lost or damaged, significant delays in customs clearance, or movements that require expedited processing.

Qualification:

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience Business Management or Project management and/or Supply Chain management

  • US Citizen due to Government contracts

How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?

  • You possess strong analytical skills

  • You have a working knowledge of current Department of Defense material support concepts and EVMS

  • You're familiar with engine Bills of Material, spares configuration management databases, and spares forecasting tables

  • You've acquired proficiency in the complete range of SAP materials-related transactions.

Education: BA/BS in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
