The Quality and Process Engineering (QPE) is seeking an NDT Engineer.

Major job responsibilities include:

As a member of the QPE NDT team in East Hartford CT, he/she will focus on our Hollow Fan Blade inspection area initially and resolve quality issues pertaining to NDT, drive process and productivity improvements.

Travel:

The position will require limited domestic travel. (10%)

Vacation:

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree with 6+ years experience

  • (OR) MA/MS degree w/4–7+ years experience

  • (OR ) PhD degree w/2–4+ years experience

  • US Citizenship is required due to government contracts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have extensive project management experience

  • You have experience maintaining compliance and productivity of NDT systems in high pressure production environments.

  • You have experience training personnel and maintaining personnel qualification records

  • You are recognized as a level 3 NDT Engineer in one or more NDT methods.

  • You have proven leadership and communication skills.

  • You have hands-on experience with immersion c-scan ultrasonic inspection systems including programming and program validation.

  • Ideally, you will have relevant specialized technical training or a degree in a discipline applicable to the position.

  • You will have ASNT or similar formal recognition as an NDT specialist.
