Pratt & Whitney Tool Support Services (TSS) offers airline and repair facility customers a complete line of aircraft engine tooling and engine ground support equipment (GSE) for all maintenance operations. TSS provides quality products at competitive prices, delivered in a timely manner. Our tooling supports all Pratt & Whitney commercial engines including the new Geared Turbofan for business and regional aircraft, as well as International Aero Engine's V2500 engines. The tools we sell are identical to those that Pratt & Whitney uses to assemble and maintain its own engines.

Our TSS group is looking to add a Procurement Associate to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the relationship with a designated group of suppliers. This includes:

  • Managing all schedules, and purchase orders for the client account or the product family

  • Overseeing financial performance requirements

  • Directing all phases of the account, including but not limited to requests for proposals, account management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability and program execution

  • Developing systemic supplier improvement plans, expedition plans to meet account needs

  • Managing and ensures completion of expedited processing and spot buys or exceptions when required

  • Support activities related to delivery assurance

Qualification:

Do you meet these Basic Qualifications?

  • You've obtained a Bachelor's Degree. Preferred fields include Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or Business Management

  • U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card Holder) is required

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain supporting procurement activities or managing suppliers within a manufacturing facility

How about any of these Preferred Qualifications?

  • MBA or graduate preferred

  • You have over 3 or more years' experience working with in Aerospace aftermarket and MRO repair station Strategic Supply Chain role

  • You have a proven track record of leading multi-functional teams and managing multiple projects and tasks with clear prioritization and organization. You have a background that includes working with ACE,

  • Hands on experience with structured project management and dynamic problem solver with the ability to craft solutions to everyday challenges with creative new ideas

  • Expert written and verbal skills with ability communicate in a straightforward manner. Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness

  • Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Associate Certification is strongly preferred along with a proven track record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments

  • Executive presence comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership

  • You are comfortable working Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. SAP supply chain experience preferred

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
