Description:

The Enterprise Capacity & Material Planning Strategy, Supply Planning organization is looking for an analytical, results-driven individual to execute materials planning processes across multiple Value Streams. The successful candidate is customer-focused and motivated to work in a dynamic and highly interactive work environment that connects the P&W value stream. The Materials Planning Specialist is a key role within the Value Stream and ECMPS organization that maintains systems to ensure schedule accuracy and enable schedule stability. Responsibilities include: - Execute Materials processes supporting Supplier Delivery and Scheduling as well as Inventory control including: o schedule management o inventory management o evaluate capacity, machine/tooling downtime, etc. o supplier inventory management o inventory input control o supplier pull signals o lead time management o ship horizon reviews o Inventory buffering o engineering change incorporation o implement sourcing strategy into the schedule o takted deliveries - Execute the Plan for Every Part (PFEP) (system planning parameters, physical part parameters, takted delivery expectations, supplier integration) and adherence to material replenishment expectations, including existing MMAS & ECMPS policies and procedures. - Execute timely and accurate implementation of material master changes. - Execute takted material plans to support detailed production schedules and maintain inventory control through supplier integration - Support inventory initiative teams focused on the improvement of inventory management processes. - Support annual MMAS audits; ensure monthly compliance requirements - Co-lead, or support various strategic initiatives associated with material planning processes & systems

Qualification:

0-3 years of materials planning experience or equivalent. Must be self-motivated and be able to work independently with the value stream teams. Must demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience and APICS certification preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (business, supply chain or equivalent preferred) or equivalent combination of experience and education. ACE Associate or higher.
