Description:

Pratt & Whitney PP&S Program Planning & Schedule is searching for a Program Scheduler. The Master Schedule is the program’s most powerful management tool and when properly maintained, the schedule can be used to influence program management decisions and actions. As a Program Scheduler, you will be:

  • Managing schedule health, making sure that the schedule is vertically and horizontally linked to perform program critical path assessments.

  • Providing consulting support to the Program Office on Military Engine Programs, identifying, analyzing and managing risk to program events, promoting the IMS as a healthy, integrated management tool.

  • Contributing to the development of working schedules for estimating. Preparing proposal and preliminary schedules as required and integrating proposed changes into existing schedules.

  • Creating program scheduling procedures and standard work, continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity as well as communicating improvements and efficiencies in scheduling processes.

Qualification: Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in scheduling programs, using a project tool (i.e. Primavera, MS Project, Open Plan), to include:

  • Demonstrated understanding of earned-value management principles.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Programs (MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word).

  • Knowledge in the application of integrated cost/schedule techniques on programs

  • US Citizen with a security clearance or the ability to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in Primavera

  • Familiarity with the NDIA's Planning and Scheduling Excellence Guide

  • Experience on DoD compliance programs, reporting requirements, and familiarity with the DoD Earned Value Management System Interpretation Guide (EVM Sig)

  • Demonstrated proficiency in efficient and effective schedule analysis.

  • Experience using a Monte Carlo schedule risk simulator (i.e. Primavera Risk Analysis, Acumen Fuse)

  • Understanding of systems/project engineering concepts and practices

  • Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated with excellent verbal/written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines.
