A rare opportunity exists to join us in the role of Quality Engineer, Aftermarket at our East Hartford, CT Campus.

You will support Commercial & Military parts repair for several engine shops both domestic and international within the CTRP/CTSC Aftermarket Quality organization.

Responsibilities /Accountabilities

  • You will be supporting Shop Floor activities including production requirements, answering Inspector questions on issues and the repair of engine parts.

  • Respond to customer escapes as well as Customer reviews for Root Cause and Corrective Actions and providing overall customer happiness.

  • Manage non-conforming material Support Audits by Customers and Regulatory bodies. Report quality metrics and drive target achievements.

  • You will be willing to become an FAA Inspection Repairman.

  • You will enforce ACE management, ITC compliance, and employee engagement.

  • Must be a US citizen - due to government contracts.

  • A minimum of 1 year of professional work experience with proven ability to work with a diverse group of skilled workers.

  • You communicate effectively both verbally and in writing also required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Aerospace Regulations/ FAA industry would be a plus

  • You are familiar with machine shop atmosphere would be preferred.

Education:

  • BA/BS in Engineering Required.
