This position is for an Intern assigned within the PW Quality organization in Connecticut, based at the East Hartford, CT. Responsibilities will vary by workgroup assignment, but will consistently include: addressing supplier and internal manufacturing quality concerns, tracking of data and metrics in support of quality, coordination with other departments on business initiatives and roadmap objectives, understanding of technical procedures and standard work, preparation for manufacturing ramp, implementing process improvements and support of quality investigations. Training by workgroup position will be provided in support of Scholarship program participants, including exposure to the UTC Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) operating system and principles for working application during your assignment.

Qualification:

Must be familiar with Microsoft office products (word, excel, outlook, powerpoint)

Able to work in a fast paced environment

Desire to pursue a career in quality preferred

Previous internship experience preferred

Must be a US Citizen

Education:

Candidates must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's or master's degree. Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering majors preferred.

GPA of 3.0 or higher required.
