Description:

The Enterprise Capacity & Materials Planning Strategy (ECMPS) team within Pratt & Whitney is a rapidly growing organization established to assess the demand and output capacity of the entire P&W operations and supply chain network. Major functions of the ECMPS organization are Demand Management, Enterprise Capacity, Sales Inventory & Operations Planning (SI&OP), and Master Scheduling. The Enterprise Capacity Sr. Associate role interfaces with GSC, Mod Centers and suppliers in assuring capacity across all suppliers and all programs. The role will include conduction capacity assessments and run at rate (boost) projects at select suppliers. Responsibilities include: - Providing part level capacity intel by conducting assessments at the producer sites - Identify capacity risks, create mitigation plans, and drive actions to closure - Support IPMT (integrated program management team ) by providing key capacity information - Work with the materials team to ensure part demands are aligned to the capacity at the producer base - Perform run at rate (boost) assessments at producer sites by following standard PW procedures The candidate will work within a team of ECMPS leaders, and with Operations, Supply Chain & Engineering teams to meet these business objectives. This position gives the candidate the unique opportunity to have regular contact with Pratt & Whitney's Global Supply Chain, including partner companies, PW producer sites as well as external customers. The candidate will support the program's delivery, quality and cost goals, including focused efforts on understanding design changes, manufacturing and strategic sourcing initiatives. The position will promote teaming across all functions at Pratt and Whitney as well as with our engine customers.

Qualification: Other qualifications include the ability to demonstrate good analytical, organizational, and communication skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite; SAP experience and APICS certification preferred.

Required:

•Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or other relate field

•3+ years materials planning experience

•US Citizen

Preferred:

•Master's Degree in business, supply chain, engineering or other relate field

•1+ years of materials planning experience or equivalent

•ACE Associate or higher
