You will be joining the Customer Support team within the Entry into Service (EIS) organization. The EIS organization is tasked with all readiness activities for specific engine programs and for operators entering revenue service, and ensuring that processes, tools, and other resources are in place to support these tasks.

Your job responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of supplier strategy and sustainment activities for our Customer Support organization

  • Driving initiatives across the organization and across Geared Turbofan (GTF) programs toachieve airframe and airline customer needs and improve/address customer feedback

  • Supporting Parts Manufacturing Approval (PMA) coordination for components and systems

  • Coordinating with suppliers regarding Initial Provisioning for airline customers

  • Working with the Program Office, Licensing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams as needed to achieve objectives

  • Being a key player in laying out strategy and orchestrating initiatives with UTC divisions

  • Executing overall roadmaps, and conducting quarterly business reviews with suppliers

  • Supporting customer Supplier Improvement Meetings and other initiatives as needed.

You're required to have a valid U.S. passport or be capable of acquiring one.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or Engineering

  • At least 7 years' experience in SCM, operations management, strategy, engineering OR Masters with 5 years' experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Commercial Engines Customer Organization Supply Chain, Engineering, Programs, and Aftermarket Operations

  • Aerospace Industry experience with knowledge of regulatory requirements

  • Proven ability persuading while maintaining positive relationships during negotiations

  • Microsoft Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Access/Excel/Visio/SharePoint

  • Highly effective communications and influencing skills with customers and internal teams outside of direct reporting structure

  • Proven capability or aptitude to work across multiple Pratt & Whitney/UTC groups, bring consensus and drive solutions for urgent and critical issues

  • You should be focused and possess the ability to lead multiple tasks and objectives to meet business requirements

  • Standout colleague who has been successful in building and maintaining positive long term business relationships, delights customers, contributes to process improvement efforts and performs well under pressure

  • Experience working with an international customer base

  • Supplier management, including strategy and contracts

  • Ability to understand technical data

  • Engine, nacelle, and engine accessory knowledge

  • Ability to oversee internal and external customer feedback to develop action plans

  • Cross-functional team leadership skills, ability to influence without authority and motivate change within the organization
