Our Senior Research Engineer position demands strong fundamentals, coupled with skills in physics-based modeling, programming, and an intuition for the appropriate level of modeling fidelity for a given problem. The Senior Research Engineer position may contribute in the following areas:

  • Multiphysics computational modeling

  • Thermal / energy management systems modeling and analysis

  • Aircraft and building system design

  • Experimental validation of new thermal management components

  • Design for advanced/additive manufacturing

  • Topological modeling/graph reasoning

  • Geometric modeling/spatial reasoning

Qualification:

Required qualifications:

  • Computational or experimental experience in thermodynamics and heat transfer

  • Graduate or within one year of graduation with a thesis-track engineering degree (M.S. or Ph.D.)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment

  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident (green card holder)

  • MS Candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant post degree work experience.

  • PhD Candidates with up to 3 years of relevant post degree work experience.
