Description:

The Repair Demand Planning Sr. Manager is key member of the Commercial Engine Spare Parts Business responsible for setting a strategy to forecast MRO repairs on Pratt & Whitney parts.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Develop a strategy to determine parts that require repair through P&W MRO repair network

  • Develop and manage all aspects of the repair parts to maintain a desired customer fill rate, inventory level, forecast accuracy and schedule stability

  • Ability to incorporate new information into a forecast, such as service bulletins, changes in demand due to used material availability, changes in customer behavior, changes in repairs, or changes shop visits

  • Communicate with internal and external customers, partners and stakeholders

  • Manage QCPC and Market Feedback Analysis, utilize the information to improve the forecasting process and metrics

  • Coordinate development of repair part forecasting process for new jet engine programs.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7 years of experience in aftermarket overhaul

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred – MBA and Five years of experience and general knowledge of the engine overhaul and repair network business

  • Demonstrated self-starter who does not wait to be led Highly proficient in SAP, Microsoft Excel and to a greater extent Microsoft Access

  • Ability to analyze, integrate, and act on conflicting or incomplete information

  • Strong Interpersonal skills and teaming skills

  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines

  • Determination to drive process improvement

  • UTC ACE Associate or Six Sigma Green Belt Certified preferred

Education: Education

Required – Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or Math related field.
