Job Description

As part of the Military Customer Support & Services (MCS&S) organization, the Technical Product/Process Lead will work to define, develop and maintain the infrastructure necessary for the organization to provide world class customer products and services. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and continuous improvement of the tools, processes and employee proficiency levels required to support the MCS&S mission.

Specifically, the MCS&S Technical Product/Process Lead will:

  • Serve as product owner and technical expert for department IT tools (RITS, MERLIN, Proficiency Development Tool, etc.) with front-to-back responsibility for the following:

  • Define product business requirements

  • Define and perform product testing

  • Integrate with other systems/departments (TeamCenter, SAP, etc.)

  • Request and manage budget

  • Maintain and ensure system data quality

  • Support user issues/requests

  • Provide performance metrics

  • Develop user procedures/instructions

  • Identify proficiency levels, curriculum & training requirements

  • Provide training as required

  • Analyze and implement corrective actions for turnbacks

  • Identify and coordinate all MCS&S metrics

  • Coordinate the overhaul and management of department procedures

  • Overhaul and manage MCSS website content

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of technical experience in engineering, information systems and/or process/product improvement

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in military support

  • Technical / Computing experience

Education:

  • Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or IT

  • BS Mechanical Engineering / BS Computer Science or comparable technical degree preferred
