Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team to successfully execute the implementation of assigned projects.

  • The project team can consist of one or more members, and may be from various departments.

  • Execute assigned projects by managing tasks associated with project planning, risk management, scheduling, and intra-departmental communication and planning.

  • Primary Responsibilities UTC Aerospace Systems is among the largest global suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace products. We design and manufacture aerospace systems for commercial, regional, corporate and military aircraft and are a major supplier for international space programs.

  • Manage OEM programs.

  • Direct accountability for the success of OEM product line program(s) as measured in all terms and requirements of the applicable contract, by profitability/cost expectations set by the Program Manager, and by the measure of customer satisfaction.

  • Manage and coordinate the activities of all assigned customer service representatives (CSRs).

  • Leadership responsibility through all phases of the program management process, specifically ensuring the team achieves all deliverable outputs.

  • Has overall responsibility for program leadership, execution and customer contact for assigned OEM programs.

  • Successfully manage program requirements within schedule and budget.

  • Collaborate with a variety of functional areas inside and outside the organization to deliver program results responsive to internal and external customer requirements.

  • Interpret, execute and establish operating policies and processes.

  • Meet the program objectives, such as, technical performance, non-recurring cost, recurring cost targets, P/L, inventory and risk management, and manage program compliance.

  • Conducts periodic internal and customer reviews.

  • Drives the UTAS Mission and Operating Principles by modeling the Four Gears and driving the Interiors Mission, Vision, Values and Legacies.

  • Ensures compliance to all applicable policies, laws, rules and regulations.

  • Ensures employee safety through the continued education and discussion of the Cardinal Rules for EH&S and Quality.

  • Explain company policies and regulations to subordinate groups.

  • Apply the Corporate Equal Employment Opportunity Policy and implement effective affirmative actions to assist the company in the attainment of goals and objectives.

  • Perform other related duties as requirements develop.

  • Ensure compliance with UTC Aerospace EHS and Ethical Policies and with Federal, State and local laws.

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Previous Program Management or Project Management role.

  • Must have demonstrated the ability to strategically organize and complete projects, tasks and business objectives

  • Ability to motivate.

  • Capable of driving issues through to completion.

  • Experience with leading change & process improvements.

  • Experience with leading cross functional teams through project closure.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate verbally and written at all levels internally and externally.

  • Strong leadership abilities, interpersonal skills and teaming attitude.

  • Strong continuous improvement skills and customer focus.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.

  • Strong computer skills, (SAP, Office and Visual Manufacturing).

  • Bachelor of the Arts/Bachelor of Science degree with 5+ years experience or Master of Arts/Master of Science degree with 3+ years experience is required.
