You could be part of our next chapter as an Applications Problem Manager, based in Farmington, Connecticut, responsible for guiding the Otis Application team to continuously improve and manage quick problem resolution for our customers.
Manages relationships with key service partners and provides structure and process around incident and problem management for applications across Otis
Coordinates communications between IT teams, business partners and internal customers to ensure problems are tracked and closed to our customers’ satisfaction
Performs data analysis of problem trends and corrective actions
Identifies and implements processes, monitoring tools and communication frameworks to create a collaborative structure for problem resolution from service partners supporting the Otis application portfolio
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or a directly related discipline, and/or equivalent work experience is required
Advance degree preferred
At least ten years of progressive experience working in an Information Technology environment in a program management capacity that required key vendor or multi-vendor management
Ability to drive team efficiencies with effective partnerships
Experience or training with the ITIL framework
Familiarity with quality management processes and incident/problem management
Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas
Experience working in a service-delivery role in a business-critical environment
Ability to work independently in a leadership role with front-line responsibilities
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated presentation skills, including the ability to create trend analyses and reports
A business/end-user focus with a technical background
Experience with large complex programs and/or project management
Experience implementing an ITIL model into a technical organization
Experience with ServiceNow preferred
