Become a key member of the global field supply chain leadership team, helping to identify and execute strategies to transform field purchasing at Otis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide overall global leadership for the transformation of field purchasing, including the deployment of the Otis field requisition system and future state field purchasing business processes. Responsibilities include deployment planning and execution, catalog development / management / continuous improvement, annual planning, and system enhancement identification / planning / deployment. Manage FRS deployment program management office, including local, regional, and WHQ cross functional Otis teams and outsource partners, to achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual FRS plans and targets. Ensure FRS business case is achieved at the site, region, and overall global program level.

  • Develop and execute outsource and offshore models for supporting supplier catalog management, including hiring and organization structure decisions, developing and deploying robust standard work, and defining and deploying operational metrics to ensure quality and delivery of service.

  • Provide overall leadership for deployment of mobile field purchasing capabilities. Engage key stakeholders across purchasing, service transformation, field operations, finance, and IT to collect requirements, manage development and deployment, and continuous improvement.

  • Develop global marketplace strategy, including identification and strategy development by region of capable marketplace solutions, and incorporation of marketplace technology and business process in existing field purchasing process and tool set.

  • Support program management of other global field supply chain initiatives, including operational and field spend analysis and annual productivity planning and reporting, and ensuring their alignment to financial reported metrics.

  • Support deployment field purchasing policies and standard work, and manage compliance.

  • In all areas of responsibility, the incumbent is responsible for providing full compliance with the "UTC Policy Statement on Contracting with the United States Government" and the "UTC Code of Ethics".

Qualification:

  • 5 years experience in global supply chain management or field/manufacturing operations is preferred

  • 5 years experience in program management and/or driving business transformations, including those with both new business process and IT system implementations are highly desired

  • Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and achieve results

  • Ability to lead a matrixed global team to achieve results in a timely manner

  • Ability to adapt and excel in a dynamic global environment

  • Ability to lead analysis and resolution of complex problems where success requires the evaluation of both tangible and intangible variables

  • Experience with Oracle procurement cloud and JDE is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • Master's degree preferred
