Responsibilities:

United Technologies Corporate headquarters is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Cybersecurity & Digital Risk Management team to design, manage, and streamline operational workflows for Identity Management (IdM) technical operations. The individual will utilize ITIL methodology and the UTC Service Now system to implement, maintain, and improve operational process workflows for IdM technical environments. The position will ensure that operational workflows are integrated with broader UTC functions, including Infrastructure services, Service Now, AD/Azure, HR applications, DXC, and other service functions that integrate with and enable IdM technical operations. The position will partner with other IAM verticals including Business Operations and Access Management, as well as other Digital functions, HR-IT, and external contractors, including DXC, Accenture, and SDG.

Job responsibilities include:

  • design, implement, maintain, and improve operational workflows for IdM technical operations

  • design, implement, maintain, and improve SharePoint sites for IdM technical operations

  • Manage all workflow and collaboration tools in support of IdM Technical Operations, in a secure environment to satisfy business needs (ServiceNow, SharePoint, K2, Yammer, Qlik, ALM, etc.)

  • Represent IdM Technical Operations on the UTC-wide ServiceNow team

  • Support design solutions that integrate with the current IdM platform, including provisioning, de-provisioning, password synchronization, and integration of applications for authentication, authorization, and access certification campaigns.

  • Drive a continual service improvement plan for IdM Solutions, focusing on operational, process, and resource efficiency

  • Partner with key stakeholders for further integrations and accommodating changes impacting downstream applications and systems

  • Partner with applications development teams, HR-IT, and other essential teams to support and improve IdM environments, applications, integrations, and business processes

  • Respond to user support needs relating to IdM workflow tools such as ServiceNow, SharePoint, and Qlik reporting

  • Maintain and publish Knowledge articles in Service Now, ensuring they are reviewed on a regular basis and up-to-date with current IdM solutions

  • Work with the IdM technical support team and business operations team to publish reports and make available to business unit stakeholders

  • Work with the IdM technical operations team to define, develop, and publish IdM metrics and reporting, specifically in regard to technical IdM operations

  • Provide input as needed to senior management for strategic IAM (Identity and Access Management) plans

  • Support the IAM team during Audit inquiries

  • Create communications for IdM technical operations that require stakeholder(s) awareness

Qualification:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing and delivering complex IT projects in large multinational organizations

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in the Information Technology Area and in managing workflow and collaboration solutions

  • ITIL foundation certified and experience with ServiceNow framework

  • Experience gathering client requirements, developing work estimates, writing specifications, and implementing application solutions

  • Experience utilizing SharePoint designer and workflows to meet business needs, including out-of-box functionality and custom development

  • Experience creating and managing workflows, sites, custom lists using SharePoint Designer

  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory domain administration tools such as AD Users and Computers, Domains and Trusts, Sites and Services

  • Experience developing processes and procedure that support the IAM vision

  • Experience reviewing requirements and providing intuitive solutions

  • Strong in team development and multitasking in a highly complex environment

  • A thorough knowledge of IAM technologies

  • A thorough understanding of complex functional requirements

  • Knowledge of complex technical environments

  • Problem solving and analytical abilities including the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details and apply sound business knowledge

  • Experience in successful process improvement initiatives. Demonstrated focus on process development and implementation that spans organizational boundaries.

  • Ability to quickly acquire knowledge, understand and interpret business processes. Act in partnership with the business and be recognized as a valued contributor to business

  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, analytical, verbal, written communication and technical skills are essential. Ability to build and maintain customer relationships; strong team player, able to meet deadlines and adjust to changing priorities

  • Ability to multi-task and work independently, as well as work collaboratively with teams, some of which may be geographically distributed

  • Ability to interact with IAM stakeholders, partners and senior leadership to build relationships centered around trust and consistent delivery

  • Ability to document and identify solutions that address the needs of senior stakeholders

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s).

  • In lieu of a degree, 5+ years of IAM technical experience
