Description:

The awareness team manages UTC’s cybersecurity awareness and education program for all personnel globally. The program is comprised of several elements including a simulated phishing program and various eLearning activities. UTC’s cybersecurity awareness team is part of the Digital Technologies organization. The role is based in Farmington, Connecticut.

The phishing & eLearning analyst reports to the cybersecurity awareness and communications team lead.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of all aspects of the phishing program from creation of the annual plan, preparing & launching each phishing scenario in a web-based application, to working with vendor support teams to ensure results are reported timely & follow-up actions are completed

  • Analysis of phishing data and metrics for management reporting

  • Provide occasional support to end-users, typically via email, for phishing questions and issues

  • Maintain all process documentation for the simulated phishing program

  • Enter eCertifications content in multiple languages into web-based application

  • Provide support to eLearning system users (seasonal)

  • Reporting of eLearning certification completions and coordination of follow-up activities

  • Ad hoc tasks and projects in support of other awareness program activities as required

Skills & experience:

  • Security, security awareness and/or simulated phishing program experience a plus

  • Knowledge of email technology a plus

  • Comfortable learning new web-based systems and following step-by-step processes with precision

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking to enable self-guided problem-solving and pro-active process improvements

  • Excel knowledge required (creation of charts, graphs, pivot tables, slicer)

  • Data analytics or visualization software experience a plus

  • Experience in project coordination and demonstrated ability to concurrently support multiple initiatives

  • Attention to detail is critical – grammar review as part of proof reading & quality assurance are steps in publishing phishing email scenarios and online learning certifications

  • Organized, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative team

  • Experience working with suppliers and a matrix organization

  • Demonstrated ability to establish working relationships with diverse, geographically dispersed team members

Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent work experience may be considered.

Qualification:
