RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for meeting Carrier and Distributor inventory business plans

  • Deliver positive results from order entry through order delivery and post delivery

  • Handle enquires and deliver prompt response to distributor to aid in order delivery

  • Through optimal use of time management, dedicate the proper amount of time and energy to distributor needs

  • Analyze order fulfillment and replenishment for improved inventory management

  • Accurately interpret distributor needs to satisfy efficient use of Supply Chain assets

  • Work with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to offer solutions to satisfy requirements

  • Provide distributor post-sales support as required

  • Create selling opportunities through brand awareness, product awareness, and full understanding of distributors' organizational structure

  • Improve productivity using ACE within Sales and Supply Chain

  • Provide external support to our distributors, transportation providers, and other outside vendors

  • Serve as a liaison between internal departments, transportation providers, and distributors

  • Monitor product and orders while assisting in load planning and delivery of shipments

  • Individually manages distributor accounts by developing and implementing strategies for distributor inventory management practices through analyzing product availability, market trends, and movement in order to aid in forecasting inventory levels

  • Maintain positive relationships with distributors and other internal and external customers with annual visits and daily communications

  • Seeks and contributes pertinent product information, acquired knowledge, best practices, and other beneficial information to the department

  • Develop and implement a cost savings business practice that drives supply chain goals and objectives

  • Individually identifies resources to gain specialized knowledge in other areas of the supply chain

LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Responsible for various projects and multiple tasks within functional discipline

  • Make contribution to the team by applying their knowledge of the company objectives

  • Works with very limited guidance on projects with short term and long term focus

  • Has a solid understanding of the fundamentals for the discipline and role - continuing to develop specialized knowledge

Qualification:

  • Experience with SAP, Salesforce.com, and Business Intelligences preferred

  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

  • Experience applying ACE or Six Sigma principles is preferred

  • Proven ability to develop and nurture positive distributor relations

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Proven capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal format across a wide audience

  • Proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels of the organization

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities

  • Superior follow-through skills

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years' experience

  • MBA degree with 2-5 years' experience
