We are seeking a high-energy, dynamic Human Resources Business Partner to support the Residential HVAC Headquarters in downtown Indianapolis, IN. The successful candidate will be an experienced strategic business partner with strong business acumen and the ability to understand financial, operations and customer expectations and drive profitability and value.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

This role is responsible for leading human resource initiatives and promoting a high performance culture including leadership effectiveness, organizational effectiveness, staffing and sourcing, talent development, performance programs, compensation, policy compliance, employee relations, and communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Through collaboration with HR COE’s and business leaders, deliver HR services and strategies for assigned functions including talent acquisition, leadership development, organizational design and effectiveness, change management, employee relations and workforce planning

  • Define the organizational capabilities needed to meet current and future business objectives while enabling a continuous focus on culture transformation

  • Assess the workforce pipeline and capability in relation to current and future business objectives with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion

  • With a focus on organizational effectiveness, support talent strategies that enable a culture of performance and accountability

  • Responsible for managing client organization headcount and employment cost tracking

  • Provides strategic analysis, management and administration of sales incentive and management incentive processes

  • Analyzes employee engagement data and partners with leaders to implement strategic plans to improve the employee experience; Develops creative, innovative and cost effective strategies to recruit and develop high potential talent

  • Partners with key leaders to implement standard processes for performance assessment and feedback, leadership development, succession planning and employee development

  • Accountable for promptly investigating and resolving employee relations issues

  • Responsible for the performance of other tasks related to this position as assigned

Qualification:

  • Minimum of 6 years’ professional Human Resources experience

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while also able to manage multiple priorities

  • Experience with employee relations, employee and leadership development

  • Significant experience in working across functions and leading and delivering on complex projects

  • Experience leading organizational change; creating and building organizational capabilities utilizing proven and established systems or frameworks

  • Excellent communication skills, especially with senior leaders and customers

  • Ability to work effectively and influence others in a diverse and dynamic work environment

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills

  • Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)

  • Previous experience with Workday is preferred

  • Experience working in HR COE/Shared Services model preferred

Education:

  • BA/BS in business, human resources or related area of study

  • MA/MS/MBA is preferred
