Collins Aerospace is looking for an Associate Support Technician to assist Design Engineering with basic technical tasks which contribute to the preparation and submittal of engineering deliverables. You will also assist in various other engineering tasks.
Works under immediate supervision to provide technical support to engineers on a variety of engineering tasks.
Assists with basic technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects.
Assists with preparation of charts, graphs, or diagrams
Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.
Maintains, compiles and formats data and design changes.
Controls the flow of drawings, reports and engineering documentation.
Experience & Qualifications
General computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office software such as Excel and Word.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
Demonstrate ability to effectively communicate (written and oral) and work in a team environment.
Ability to find solutions and complete tasks with minimum instructions
Knowledgeable of applicable software systems used in the Quality Management System such as SAP, Teamcenter, Pilgrim etc.
Experience with Adobe PDF, MS SharePoint and digital peripheral equipment
Experience with engineering development processes
Education & Certifications
Degree Requirement: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus additional specialized courses or short-term training (one year or less) with minimum of 1 year experience OR
Associates Degree, Technical/Business School Certificate or Diploma, Skilled Trades Apprenticeship, or other post high school training (two years duration) with minimum of 6 months experience
