In this role you will:

  • Mask and prep parts for painting

  • Rack parts for painting

  • Un-rack and deliver painted parts to internal customers

  • Keep parts in respective lots

  • Cure parts after topcoat application

  • Operate Chart recorders

  • Some painting with an airbrush

  • Some computer transactions

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

  • Must adhere to all EH & S regulations and policies as well as attend required training courses related to EH & S.

  • Follow the EH & S roles and responsibility in accordance with the Cargo Policy MP5322.

Qualification:

  • Good manual dexterity

  • Basic computer skills

  • Able to operate a curing oven and chart recorders.

  • Ability to read and follow directions

  • Ability to stay on task

  • Produce neat, precise work

  • Accept direction

  • Accept constructive criticism

  • Work well with co-workers

  • Work well with limited supervision

  • Stand/sit for extended periods

  • Complete tasks in a timely manner

Education:

  • HS diploma or equivalent
