Description:

You must perform the work necessary to disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble, and test (as required) P&W F119-PW-100 gas turbine engines and associated new technologies. You must work in a team environment with Field Service Representatives, Engineering, and our customers to provide world class maintenance and support. Typical duties will include: full and intermediate maintenance/repair on engines, modules and components, routine maintenance of support equipment, local support for investigations and process improvement activity, management of process related waste in accordance with approved work instructions, and additional tasks in support of business objectives.

  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with others in diverse work environment.

  • This position requires an individual who is detail oriented. Accuracy in work performed is a requirement.

  • Ability to work 1st or 2nd shift.

  • Comply with the EH&S Policy and applicable regulatory and company EH&S rules and requirements

  • Comply with the Quality Policy and applicable and company Quality rules and procedures.

Qualification:

Basic qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalency required.

  • Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

  • 2+ years of F119 Jet Engine experience along with tear-down and build up.

  • 1+ year of air force maintenance systems experience.

  • Experience with gas turbine engines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer controls.

  • Previous experience in Aerospace/ Military Aircraft

  • Experience/Qualifications

Education:

High School diploma or GED required.
